About Us

We are a community of imperfect people, united by a shared commitment to knowing Christ and living a life dedicated to Him through service. It’s really that simple. But simplicity in Christ (2 Corith. 11:3) doesn’t always mean easy—following Christ can be a challenge.

Our goal is to introduce everyone we meet, talk to, or spend time with, to the deep, unending love of Jesus and His Kingdom. We want you to feel at home at HCOG because we truly believe you belong here. You don’t have to be perfect to attend HCOG—just willing to grow.

We understand that stepping into something new, like attending church, can feel intimidating. But know this: it’s not meant to be scary, and we appreciate the courage it takes. We are committed to supporting you as you learn and grow in the Word of God.
In the Bible, the word “church” doesn’t refer to a building, a leader, or entertainment. Instead, “church” means an assembly of God.

The Church is made up of people—a community of believers. We are a church committed to learning and living according to God’s will.
Our congregation is small in size, from a few dozen to several hundred members. We come from diverse backgrounds, but we all share a common goal: to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and prepare people for eternity.

Our outreach and Sabbath services are focused on the Bible, teaching directly from God’s Word. You’ll find compassionate elders who provide biblical teaching and personal counseling, so we can grow together in faith.

Jesus Christ Reveals God the Father
Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection make eternal life possible for you. He came to reveal God the Father, who is a personal Being of infinite love, desiring for you to be part of His family forever.

We Study and Believe the Entire Bible
We believe that the entire Bible is God’s complete message to humanity. Both the Old and New Testaments are essential, as all Scripture is inspired by God and serves as a guide for our lives (2 Timothy 3:16). God’s Word is living and authoritative for all Christians.
